Don’t the data say that “my sushi” is negatively correlated with Republicanism? My favorite findings from this study: People who say “my nigga” are very unlikely to be Republicans. This: Jacob Eisenstein of MIT, who has done similar work on Twitter … found, intriguingly, that a distinctive geographical region spanning from Philadelphia through Cleveland and into Detroit was most likely to use the abbreviation “CTFU,” for “cracking the fuck up,” on Twitter—even though that region does not tend to have be considered a distinctive linguistic region outside of Twitter.
