You may recall my ambivalence over Robyn, a.k.a. pop’s Mary Sue. Perhaps that’s why, of the tunes in which she does not adopt the character of delicate, heartbroken flower, I prefer for her to have no personality whatsoever. “Don’t Fucking Tell Me What To Do” sounds like it should have been a club hit in the late ’90s, promoted by a video featuring a puppet.
