This is a tweet by an Englishman who is not anyone in particular (~700 followers) that was re-tweeted by an Australian with whom I went to high school. It’s a perspective that’s rather simplistic and doesn’t really exhibit much understand of America. I saw it after I’d written this, but that sort of thing is exactly why I wrote that post.
